Science College (Autonomous) Hinjilicut, Ganjam, Odisha is one of the premiere educational institutions of the state. It came into existence in 1963 through the initiative and untiring endeavors of the benevolent the then Head Master of Brundaban Vidyapitha, Hinjilicut, Late Kishore Chandra Panda and other philanthropists of the locality to fulfill the long cherished dreams of the local people. During its infancy the college was nurtured by the generous patronage of Raja Saheb, Purna Chandra Mardaraj Deo of Khallikote regency out of the benevolent fund created by his father Raja Bahadur Rama Chandra Mardaraj Deo, one of the prominent architects of modern Odisha with the whole hearted co-operation and support of the then Hon’ble Minister of State, Late. Brundaban Nayak, a beloved leader of South Odisha.
